The Laneway Artist Residency has three large, well lit studio spaces occupying the entire third floor of the residency. Studio One is a private, 400 square foot space with a large window facing east and a southern exposure skylight. Studio Two and Three, around 250 square feet, occupy the remainder of the open concept space. These two studio spaces are flexible as all furniture, tables and walls are on wheels and easily movable. Each studio is outfitted with tables, comfortable chairs, professional studio lighting and large windows with beautiful views. We have a large drawing table, sewing machine, large glass palettes, storage, slop sink, drawing tables and easels available for use.
We have a small collection of basic supplies and encourage Artists to bring their own materials. If the Artists in Residence require specific supplies or delivery before arrival, this can be arranged for your stay.
